Living in a new 2 bedroom flat,

Well i'm at my new apartment, i moved from the old place for personal reasons, and i'm glad to say that this place is awsome! i'll take pictures and all that later to show you all. Also i managed to update the firmware on my little 3g modem, strangly i had to use the Australian Three website, as the Irish three website seams to totaly forget you can do this.

If anybody else is having issues playing world of warcraft on the three modem in ireland i strongly sudgest you go to the australian website for three and download the apropriate firmware for your modem, it totaly makes a difference! I've now gone from DC in warcraft every 5mins to totaly freedom to logg of when I choise!

Hope you all take care, while i have no phone line, if you know me, you know you can reach me by the normal means, either my mobile, sms, skype or good old msn ;D

Moving out

Well i've found a room thats 65€ a week and the land lord seams casual enough. This covers the eltricity so thats a bonus as well. Its very scary tho I have to admit, I mean.. well this is the first proper time i've moved out of the house and its all new, and very overwhelming.

I've moved some home stuff into my room which is a huge bonus, but some times I do tend to have my mind drift away about all the things i had taken for granted at home. I've shed a few tears and i'm sure i'll get stronger as it goes by.. hell its only been 2 days since I did!

Some times I feel i'm falling apart, you know because all this uncertanty, unknowingness. I've no broadband, thats a drag, but I do have it at work so its not like i'm totaly off the internet for long, realsticly if I really wanted to use the internet I have my 3g modem, which nodoubt i'll get that all up and sorted out

Well its only one week into the year and already I have the flu, such a right pain in the bum too! So far i'm drinking some god awful lemon tea, which.. well its actualy working. Also i've managed to dry some new way of cleaning out my nose, well its old actualy, water. Just a cup and drinking it down like coke when I was dared to years ago seams to be working quite well.

Anway only an hour to work so i'm out of here, hope your all doing better than I am.

Wow.. what a year!

So what has been some big events this year. Well I saw Bruce Springsteen, that was cool. I bought a PS3 and finaly got to play fable 2 on the xbox 360 as well as fallout 3 on the ps3. Wrath of the Lich King took me by storm and burnt the mmo into my mind. I got a kick ass HP Laptop and a Mac book air. My mum knite me an awsome jumper thats keeping me warm threw all the winter as well as my girlfriend Eilis bought me Cowboy Bebop on DVD.

I got a rake of new old consoles this year, including my Sega Nomad, my Sega Saturn, fact.. all of them! I learn't how to set up a wifi card finaly on Linux as well as dabled with my old EEEPC. I watched the Xfiles new movie on blue ray and collected the entire seasons on DVD. I read the Walking Dead serries of comic books and got deep into the Twit.tv online video broadcasting.

And of course, at the end of the year Brad & Scott visited!

Check it out.. I never thought they were would be one, yet for a measly 5 euro this game is mine.

Its a golf game set around our fav crew, and best of all they all do the original voices and its two player!

Basicly its a golf game at heart, but a huge Aqua Team fan will truely love the humor and the style of the game. It also comes with 4 episodes from the tv series including our favourate Moonintes!

Well.. its great.. if you don't mind not playing online games. For your average person who surfs the net, checks emails, maybe even a few youtube video's its all dandy. However, you will run into the issue that depending on where you are, even with full strength the device will flick between high/low band rather reguarly. This will cause alot of Disconnections when it comes to an online game. So think about this very carefully and if you do, remmber your 14 day return poliacy of course.

So Daniel, why don't you update your blog with random stuff like you used to? Well truth be told I am! Just i've been trying to level up my char's for the new and latest expansion that is comming to the world of warcraft!

Yep, in no less than 10 hours, we can all rejoyce.. or crindge depending on which side of the fence you are in the fact that the long awaited second expansion to world of warcraft will be released. What does this mean? Well it means a few things obviously.

The biggest being that we have a brand new class added the game. Simple known as a Death Knight, its law is that of a brake away renegade troops from arthus.. alot like the forsaken, only they are badder ass. Oh and also they start at level 55. The idea of a 'hero' class to me only means in the sense that they are a higher starting char, with requirements of course. The basic one being you must already have at least one char that is +55 to create one.

Also we have a new world to explore and if they keep the questing as interesting and original as they did in the Burning Crusade, expect some epic loot and some awsome questing and lore involved here.

We also have alread the additions of hair cuts, and such, but for more purks the warlocks get 'teleport' tallent, hunters get a hoast of new pets to tame (including the now awe inspiring emerald own that i'm dying to tame) warriors got their cool titan grip (hold double 2hd swords) and a rake of others you will just have to read the patch notes to find out.

We get another 10 levels to charge threw, tho I really hope people take a laxed aproach.. tho we have an "relm only achivement" which is first to 80, personaly, good luck to em.

So in the next few hours we all set sale, so bring some food, lots of beer and some sea sick tablets if you needem, oh and some thermal undies too!! cause its cold up in Northrend!

Well its past midnight, by quite a bit, so i should be in bed.. Soon. So how did you spend your halloween? me I had a great time, at work i dressed up as a pirate for most of the day to keep the mood, then we (being my girlfriend and I) both sat down for some scray haloween game of "dead space". Dead space was alright, but then we finished it with a viewing of that cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Ah the classics never die!

3G mobile broadband a breaze to set up?

Well it is finished and set up, but let me give you a few words of advice to those using windows vista.

1- You must have credit to access the internet.. why am i telling you this? well you ironicly need credit to access the 'top up my account' page.. which will leave your red in the face since I couldn't connect to it via the 3g modem.. if you don't have credit on your 3 3G mobile (3 is the company name here in ireland) you will connect to a network but recive a "limited connection" if this is your issue, then check it.

2- Its a modem & a usb key.. sometimes vista will get confused which one it is, in fact when you go to install it, it may only see it as a usb key.. this requires you to manualy install the software thats on it, thats how i got it to work on mine. Once installed try to use it in the same usb point, usualy it works every time, however, i have had to unplug it and replug it in a few times and it finds it their after

3- The install will take ages to install one file.. from memory it was xmailbox.dll or somthing their off.. just let it go.. it will take maybe even 3mins.. i'm not so sure why, but it does continue just sit tight n wait.

4- Put the simcard into the device.. you'll be suprised, i didn't even know i had to do that.. but since it sounds silly to say so considering even the manual states it.

These tips helped me, and yes i'm able to use the mobile broad band.. also speed wise the 3 3G broadband is great when you get a full connection, and can easily handle things such as World of Warcraft or Youtube.. just remmber you've got a 10GB limit on the better package.. thats still heafty, and you could very well play world of warcraft in moderate usage.. just try keep it to general surfing or chatting and a few moderate games of wow and you'll find it a very very good deal

I'm in a class with Eilís and its all about witchcraft.. which is quite cool.. fact its the most intersting class i've seen.. or even been heard off. This is nice because the guy has a really soft voice.. kinda like that Watcher from Buffy the vampire slayer.. yeah I can't remmber his name right now..

Before then I got myself some thing to drink, and came across this awsomely cool cash register that is more l33t than anything i've everseen, it even speaks it!

Also.. you can see the Galway Uni prides itself on its security...

You some times hear things.. wispers.. an item that is rare, but you never think you'll own one.. that is till now for me.

Introducting...

This little gem, is a sega megadrive, that plays all regions, has a lcd screen & 6 buttons... it was released for a very shor time, and gladly this one is in full working order, including 2 more lcd covers incase it gets scratched! such a gem!

Well it finaly arrived, with a nice collection and 2 controlers too! Scotts out looking around sligo with some faimly of mine to keep him company. Also the console was in VERY VERY good condition, the only hinder was the connectors for the unit was dirty, but sure a quick wipe with that and away it went. The mega cd load times.. from what i'm telling seam to be extreamly over exaderated. I've found no need for the silly comments that people say. I've played some cool side scroller game that i'll say more about later.. but for now, i'm very very happy with the item... now if only that dam sega nomad showed up some time soon =/

Blizcon Day one.. what do we know so far?

Well, as the first day drew to a close a few good gems came out of the blizzcon. We have found out they have another class for Diablo 3 known as the wizzard class,

i'm asuming its a 'mage' equivilent for Diablo. We also found out that the attendets to the blizzcon will be reciving a free beta key for the upcomming Starcraft 2. Some cool attacks she has includes the ability to 'slow down time'

Some people seam abit bumed because an anouncment that it will be split into Trillogy with each part being sold as an expansion.

But the funlight of the day was when the Cosplay was brought out, first place easly one by a Draenei riding a fully motorized turtle mount.

Check it out.. i should have showed it eariler but dam.. here you go, Danjal's Sega Game gear ;D The unit itself is very well kept, and thankfully actulay has both of the back battery covers, this is hard to find these days. As well the screen "fingers crossed" has no dark lines running threw it and the sound is extreamly clean!

Resident Evil

Resident Evil for gamecube sure got a huge lick of paint, so to speak. The graphics are greatly increased, and the voice acting is alot better too. As far as the scary factor.. Well.. No.. I'm sorry to all those that love the Resident Evil but to me, somthing isn't scary when you find out its just a biological entity. When you first play the game, and you see all the cool mansion you think the place is haunted and pure evil and everything is grand and creepy, then once you find out sombody just has a large dose of the flu, the whole game takes a slow spiral downtown into not-so-scary town. While you do get alot of jumpy moments, there is nothing here that will not keep you from sleeping, nor have you pondering after you finish the game and turn of the lights.

Another thing, which may or may not cause a huff to deep fans is the actual lack of zombies. Most of the time i'm spending is fighting dogs, bees (yes.. bees) and birds.

I've been told Resident Evil 4 throws this all away and gives you hell of a ride, i'll just have to get it myself and find out, till then if your looking for a zombie romp for you game cube, check it out, otherwise you'd be more satisfied with Dead Rising.

While we sit about and wait for Duke Nukem Forever to be released (yes we all know the jokes so it can just stop right here) to tide you over, Xbox & 3D relms have released somthing that can only be described as PURE AWSOME. All tweaked for the 360, the now officaly launched Duke Nukem 3D for Xbox Live is out, and if you are looking for an old school shooter, without the old school feeling, ie the ability to look up and down, then this is it

The transition towards the xbox controler is actualy extreamly fluid, and at times can actualy feel more responsive than a keyboard and mouse! So if you've got a spare 800 microsoft points, hell.. even if you don't, you should consider buying this game.
